Regular vs. Irregular French Verbs

In French, verbs are divided into two headings, i.e., Regular Verbs & Irregular Verbs

Regular Verbs
When we conjugate regular verbs in the present tense or any additional tenses, these verbs follow a set pattern.
Regular verbs fall into three categories:
1st group :- verbs ending with ER (-er).
2nd group :- verbs ending with IR (-ir).
3rd group :- verbs ending with RE (-re).
Example : Parler, manger, définir, prendre, attendre.

Irregular Verbs
On the other hand, when we conjugate irregular verbs, their final letters/endings do not determine what conjugated endings they will receive, that means irregular verbs do not follow a set pattern. So must memorize each one.Even though irregular verbs are less in numbers in comparison to regular verbs but they enclose some of the most important and common verbs in French language.
Example: Aller, venir, boire.
